This 1914 Humber was a joint effort restoration between the owner and Bristols.
The owner chose to do as much as possible. We made the complete steel body in our Upper Hutt worksphop and fixed it to the wooden frame that he had made. We finished it off with mouldings to suit.
We then, after painting, carried out one of the most time consuming but most satisfying upholstery jobs to make all the new seats, door trims, roof, side curtains and more. All the seats were made to the original specs with coil springs and buttoned.
This car was brought back to life from a trailer load of parts and is a credit to the owner for taking on a such a huge job. Since the restoration, the car has now travelled from one end of the country to the other with no issues.
